
VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH
Approximately 2,000 people volunteer for Travelers Aid. These volunteers serve on Boards of Directors, do office work, handle client intake, serve meals, and most visably - assist travelers at airport, bus and train stations in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Thanks to volunteers, Travelers Aid assisted more than 6.25 million people last year!

CELEBRATING JAMES C. FLANIGAN

James C. Flanigan is the editor of TrAid Talk, a quarterly publication for Travelers Aid volunteers who serve at Reagan National and Dulles International airports as well as Union Station in Washington, D.C. Jim, a retired, award-winning journalist, has created a highly professional newsletter to profile volunteer service at these three key transportation centers. He and his wife are volunteers at Reagan Washington National Airport.
Jim also is editor of a newsletter for Ring 50 of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) in the Greater Washington area. His other duties with the magic group include serving as the Territorial Vice President for the IBM representing the international organization in the nation's capital.
