Can I get advance passes to the new African American Museum of Culture and History? What about same-day passes?
Free timed entry passes for the Museum may only be obtained through ETIX button the Museum’s website. Caution, timed passes obtained through other services or from individuals not associated with the Museum may not be honored. Please be aware that there maybe counterfeit passes distributed through other services. Same-day timed entry passes are available online beginning at 6:30 a.m. daily until they run out. Just what is the DMV?
The greater Washington region is frequently referred to as the “DMV,”a shorthand for the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. The area in the region that is surrounded by Interstate 495, also known as the Capital Beltway, is also referred to as being “inside the Beltway.” The city of Washington, which is at the center of the area, is referred to as “the District” and is not part of any state. The Virginia portion of the region is known locally as Northern Virginia, or “NOVA.”
