You Can Make a Difference. Volunteer Today.
Volunteers are at the heart of Travelers Aid. We have locations across the country in airports, bus terminals, and train stations. In 2019, more than 2,100 Travelers Aid volunteers assisted more than 9 million people at our 24 transportation centers and volunteers at Reagan National assisted more than 700,000 of those people.
With a warm welcome, volunteers help passengers navigate the airport by providing flight and lodging information, transportation options, or guidance on making a connecting flight. We also provide a range of tourism information for those visiting the Nation’s Capital. A comprehensive training equips volunteers with the necessary resources to give accurate and helpful information.
Our desks are staffed seven days a week, 365 days a year. Volunteer shifts are available from 7–10am, 10am–2pm, 2-6pm and 6–9pm. If your requested shift is full, you will be placed on the waitlist for the next opening.
You are sure to have a rewarding experience as you assist others with their travel needs!
