Assisting Dulles Airport Passengers Since 1963

Experienced Volunteers Provide a Helping Hand Along the Way

Travelers Aid at Washington Dulles International Airport assists passengers and members of the airport community. Our 14 information desks and mobile guide locations are staffed by a core group of dedicated volunteers who provide guidance to travelers, visitors, and employees about the airport and the Washington metro area. Travelers Aid maintains an office with 3 full-time staff members at Dulles, supporting the volunteer program.

Travelers Aid at Dulles Airport is staffed and managed by Travelers Aid International and its services are provided under contract with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. In 2016, over 400 TA volunteers assisted more than 3.1 million travelers at Dulles.

Travelers Aid/Dulles Airport is part of a network of 20 Travelers Aid Transportation Centers, which includes airports, train stations and bus terminals. These programs work collaboratively with our network partners to assist travelers experiencing unexpected challenges while traveling.

Through our network, nearly 5,000 Travelers Aid volunteers and professional staff members successfully assist more than 29 million individuals.
